PRU-50 is a USB powered programmer which can be used to program Jotron’s:
• EPIRBs
• Handheld VHF (Tron TR20)
To be able to download software version higher than 5.0.1, you need to have purchased/completed our Online Learning course 200017.
December 2022 – Version 5.0.3, improved support for older EPIRB’s. You can also program your Jotron AIS EPIRB (Tron 40AIS, Tron 40VDR AIS and Tron 60AIS) using your Android smartphone.
January 2024 – Version 5.3.0, Updated version.
January 2025 – Version 5.3.9, Updated PDF report design. New expiry date for application Feb. 2027, updated/corrected text in software, and general bugfixes. Supports Windows 10 or newer only
